Ministries
The ministries of Lifegate are varied and diverse. Below, you will find a listing of the ministries and a brief description of each.
Sunday School--10:00am: Sunday morning for all ages meets in the main auditorium. Usually you can find yourself in the middle of a Biblical series, perhaps a book of the Bible or a timely Bible topic.
Sunday Morning Worship--11:00am: We meet to worship and point everything toward the God of Heaven.
Sunday Evening Pre-service Prayer Meeting--5:30pm: a time to meet and ask God's blessing on the following service and to plead with Him for revival in the Centre Region Area.
Sunday Night Praise Service--6:pm: Sunday nights are filled with singing, testimonies, and praise to Jesus Christ. A Bible message is also included.
Tuesday Night Prayer and Bible Study--7:00pm: This service focuses on prayer as we meet to take our petitions to the Lord. We want to keep the "prayer" in "Prayer meeting", however this service also includes a Bible study on any number of important life topics.
Thursday Evening Soul-winning--7:00pm: a time of sharing our faith in the community and round about. The main focus of Thursday nights is door-to-door soul-winning.
Saturday Night GateKeepers--6:30pm: A special time for the children. Age is not a barrier. Bible songs and choruses, and Bible lessons are taught in a special way to communicate God's Truth to the children.
Ladies Night (4th Friday of each month)--6:30pm: a time for the ladies to get together and study God's Word in a setting that is all their own.
Bellefonte Senior Center (1st Tuesday of each month)--10:30am: Bible Study for the Seniors of Bellefonte in a relaxed non-threatening atmosphere.
Green Hills Village Nursing Home (2nd Sunday of each month)--1:30pm: A special service for the residents of the Village ministered to by the members of Lifegate. (They in turn minister to us).
Video Night (2nd Friday of each month)--7:00pm: a night at the movies "un-hollywood" style. We feature films on great Christian leaders of the past and present. The purpose: to evangelize and edify.
Centre Region Baptist College (Each Monday night during the school year)--6:00pm: CRBC was founded to meet the need of the local church in training servants of God. Degrees are offered in Christian Counseling, Ministry, Theology, and Missions. For more information contact the school at centreregionbaptistcollege@verizon.net. HeartFelt Christian Ministries: A comprehensive counseling service of Lifegate. One on one counseling, group counseling and intervention are all part of the plan. Deborah Kovacic is also available to minister to women and children at your church gatherings on topics of emotional and spiritual health. "Come Back, America!" Evangelistic Rallies: God has put a great burden for revival upon Pastor Kovacic's heart. This has led to "Come Back, America!". These meetings usually feature a hymn-sing and a timely message calling for America to return to Christ one church at a time, one family at a time, one person at a time. Pastor Kovacic's goal is to get the message of repentance to as many people as possible, so Lifegate has made this program as church friendly as possible. Lifegate also sponsors an annual Missions Conference in the Spring and an annual Revival in the Fall. Check the web site from time to time to see the schedule for these meetings.
